Description: GasTraxx Inc. is looking for $3.5 Mil in startup capital so that we can develop our portable gas detection business to address the US$ 1.4 Billion global compliance market. We currently have $1.5 Mil from three founders, and need an additional $3.5 Mil to take our plans to market. The market is comprised of three primary segments, Oil and Gas, Power, and Chemical companies. Minor segments include utilities, transportation and mining companies. Portable gas detection is mandated by government agencies in most international jurisdictions, making it a compliance product. As a result, this market is fairly recession resistant. GasTraxx Inc. has identified some significant shortfalls in the current market that cost customers well over US$ 1.8 Billion annually (after market costs, or cost of ownership). GasTraxx Inc. has solutions to substantially reduce these cost of ownership expenses, and needs the capital to develop and patent products that will meet customers needs. GasTraxx Inc. is located in Calgary, AB and currently has six individuals with approximately 40 years of combined expertise in this specific market. Below, I have included some other important details about the funding that we need. GasTraxx Inc. is primarily interested in these funding sources, but will consider all inquiries: -Equity Funding (Venture Capital, Angel, Private Equity, etc.) -Alternative or Loan Funding Once fully funded, we intend to use this capital for these purposes: -Commercial Mortgage -Equipment Financing, specifically R&D lab equipment -Product R&D and mfg. line creation -IP protection (Patent, Copyright, Trade Marks, ID registration) -Operating/Growth Capital (Payroll, Sales & Marketing, etc) We have a comprehensive business plan and proforma financial statements ready for review. Our projections indicate over US$ 40 Mil revenue within 5 years, and positive cash flow within 2.5 years. CRA has performed an initial assesment, and the development phase will most likely qualify for SRED refundable tax credits (35% of related expenes, and 14% of related capital expenditures). At the provincial level we would also qualify for an additional top up (Alberta SRED refundable tax credit). We have detailed budgets and a power point presentation should you be interested in meeting with us. Due to the nature of our business, and our intention to apply for IP protection, we would require an NDA to be in place prior to any detailed discussions about our technology.
