Harvest stage – n : The fifth and last stage of the Venture Value Chain. In the Harvest stage, them executives and/or board of directors of the business seek to provide the business's owners with a return on their investment by either seeking a liquidity event (i.e., and initial public offering or sale of the business) or otherwise producing cash returns by managing the business in such a way as to maximize profits and dividends.
